The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, confirmed on Saturday that electronic inclusion granted 900,000 families a social welfare salary, while he said that foreign workers enter the country through tourist entry visas.
Al-Asadi said in a televised interview followed by Al-Iqtisad News, “The Ministry is continuing the campaign to detect transgressors, whose number reached 170,000 last year,” pointing out that “there is no punishment for the violator of the social welfare salary other than recovering the money from him.”
The Minister of Labor pointed out, “Adding many privileges to the Law on the Authority for Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs No. 38 of 2013.”
Regarding the work of the People with Disabilities Authority, Al-Asadi said: “We revolutionized the work of the People with Disabilities Authority by expanding attention to people of determination,” noting that “the application window has been opened continuously for people with disabilities.”
He stressed that "the electronic inclusion launched by the Ministry of Labor granted 900,000 families a social welfare salary."
He continued, "Foreign workers enter the country through tourist visas."
