[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed the importance of the role of programmers in developing the work of institutions in the aspect of governance and automation to keep pace with rapid global developments, especially in the field of information technology and programming.
The presidential media office said in a statement, “The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, Thursday, at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, the delegation of the Constituent Council of the Programmers Syndicate, headed by Saeed Abdul Karim Ghadhban.
Rashid pointed out that the role of unions and civil society organizations lies in their support of the work of the government and the implementation of Its plans by monitoring and following up the work of its members.
The President stressed the necessity of supporting and developing youth competencies, including students and those with scientific and intellectual specializations, and providing the care and attention they need, especially in organizational and administrative issues.
For their part, the members of the delegation expressed their appreciation for the President of the Republic’s interest in developing and strengthening the scientific and academic aspect, and reviewed some issues related to the Council. The founding establishment of the Programmers Syndicate, and the members of the delegation expressed their hope to support the approval of the draft law establishing the syndicate in the House of Representatives./End Page[/rtl]
