    Information / Baghdad
Today, Saturday, Representative Hussein Al-Amiri considered that any Turkish operation inside Iraqi territory is an occupation and a violation of sovereignty and international conventions.
Al-Amiri told Al-Maalouma, “The Turkish bases and stations inside Iraqi territory represent a violation of national sovereignty,” noting that “the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee is aware of the details of the Turkish movements inside Iraqi territory.”
He called for "unity to confront these violations with a national stance that rejects all steps that affect national sovereignty."
Ankara has more than 30 bases and central stationing points within the Iraqi borders, and it bombs targets on an almost daily basis under the pretext of the presence of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party. End 25 February
