The representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sharif Suleiman, confirmed that Turkey seeks to solve its political problems by violating Iraq's sovereignty and borders without searching for solutions to end the internal conflict.
Suleiman told Al-Maalouma, "It is necessary to preserve Iraq's sovereignty and prevent the violations committed by Turkey in the north of the country."
He added, "Despite Iraq's commitment to the principles of good neighborliness with the Turkish side, there are political matters that make Turkey and some countries violate Iraq's sovereignty."
He pointed out that "Turkey suffers from some political problems, and these problems must be resolved within its borders, away from violating Iraq's sovereignty and encroaching on its lands, as Turkish violations are still being committed." End 25N
