    Political researcher Mujasha’ Al-Tamimi commented on Tuesday (July 16, 2024) on the form and manner of managing the Iraqi state and the regime in the country after years of regime change.
    Al-Tamimi said in an interview with Baghdad Today, "The State Administration Alliance means consensus in decision-making, and this hinders every achievement, especially in the legislative authority, because the consensus represented by the State Administration Alliance hindered accountability and questioning of any political party and considering everyone a participant in the political process. Therefore, the major political forces have already begun consultations to draw the features of the next stage through a new political project, which is a political majority, so that there are parties in the opposition and parties in the government. Therefore, the state cannot proceed according to the quotas and consensus that came with the State Administration Alliance and what came before it."
    He explained that "the current government suffers from a difficult equation, as everyone is involved in it, but support for it is linked to specific political parties within the Shiite house, the most influential force in the political scene of that government and the Sudanese person are suffering from great political pressures due to the policies of the Sudanese person who wants to offer something at this stage for his political future, which has begun to expand through the large popular base he enjoys."
    He added: "I do not think that we are living in a dictatorial phase as it was before 2003 because the nature of the regime in Iraq and the political aggression prevents there being an authoritarian and dictatorial regime, but Iraq is living in a difficult phase due to the lack of enforcement of the law and political interference in political, economic, social and judicial life and the spread of weapons. Therefore, there are many corrupt and criminal people living at large due to their political influence and financial influence, and in contrast, there are thousands of Iraqis who are languishing in prisons due to violations and the pressures of life."
    The political researcher concluded by saying, “Therefore, there cannot be a dictatorship in Iraq, but rather there is an absence of justice among Iraqis, and even the issues in which the Prime Minister and his government are criticized are permitted to an acceptable degree, but the goal is not criticism, but rather addressing the mistakes we are experiencing.”
