    Information/Baghdad...
The leader of the State of Law Coalition, Haider al-Lami, confirmed today, Tuesday, the current government’s ability to expel American forces from Iraq, noting that the government bears responsibility for the continued presence of these forces inside Iraq.

Al-Lami told Al-Maalouma Agency, "There is negligence on the part of the Prime Minister regarding the issue of arming the security services, especially since America is a stumbling block in the way of Iraq obtaining what it wants in terms of weapons or defensive systems to preserve its sovereignty."
He added, "Despite the Federal Bank's control over Iraqi oil revenues, the government headed by Nouri al-Maliki in 2008 was able to expel American forces from the country, and worked to purchase weapons from Russia worth billions of dollars in order to confront the terrorist ISIS."
He explained that "the government resorted to Russia to obtain weapons and confront terrorism, and if matters remained suspended in Washington, Iraq would not have received any weapons from America until 2025, so the Prime Minister must stop the American side and withdraw its forces from Iraq as the Maliki government did at the time."
