The Oil, Energy and Natural Resources Committee in the House of Representatives seeks to raise the issue of shared oil fields to preserve Iraq's future rights therein.
Committee member Ali Al-Mashkoor described this file to "Al-Sabah" as "complex", especially with the presence of regional political circumstances with neighboring countries, noting that all successive governments have not taken strict measures and have not bothered to investigate it.
He explained that the committee has tried to raise this issue in more than one place, especially the fields shared with both Kuwait and Iran.
