    Baghdad - Mawazine News
On Sunday, the Kurdistan Democratic Party revealed moves to hold a number of meetings with Iraqi political parties in order to break the state of political closure controlling the Iraqi scene after the announcement of the results of the parliamentary elections and the formation of the "Save a Homeland" coalition, stressing that it seeks to preserve all constitutional rights of the region. .
A party statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, stated that it held a meeting of its leadership council headed by Massoud Barzani, in which he took a number of decisions and positions on internal Kurdish and Iraqi issues.
The statement that the meeting dealt with a number of axes, including the dialogues after the holding of the Iraqi forming elections and the process of the "Save the Homeland" coalition consisting of the three parties of Kurdish and Sunnis (the Sadrist movement, the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Sovereignty Alliance).
The statement added that the problems and obstacles facing the process of forming the new Iraqi government and efforts to overcome them and break the political closure were discussed, which is scheduled to be embodied by holding a series of meetings and meetings with the concerned parties during the coming days.
He stressed "the full defense of all constitutional rights of the region, the implementation of Article 140, the formation of constitutional institutions, including the Federal Council, the restructuring of the Federal Court in accordance with the constitution, and the adoption of the oil and gas law."
The statement added that the second axis of the meeting dealt with the internal situation of Kurdistan, during which the spotlight was shed on the efforts and steps taken by the party with the Kurdish political parties to meet and visit all parties, including the parties that did not win any seat in the Iraqi parliament and have the right to participate in the political decision of the Kurdistan region with Federal government. Ended 29/R77
