    The Parliamentary Human Rights Committee confirmed, today, Sunday, that the passage of the Freedom of Expression and Peaceful Demonstration Law is close to being decided.

    Member of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee, Nisan Al-Zayer, told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The committee voted on the law on freedom of expression, assembly and peaceful demonstration, and all that remains is to present it for reading in the House of Representatives."
    She added, "The law on freedom of expression and peaceful demonstration is necessary to regulate this democratic practice."
    Al-Zayer pointed out that "the Human Rights Committee will send the law to the Presidency of the House of Representatives to include it on the agenda in the upcoming sessions." End/25Q
