    The Ministry of Finance revealed, today, Saturday (September 7, 2024), that the Ministerial Council for Economy will hold its meeting tomorrow, Sunday, in Erbil to discuss financial and economic issues with the region.
    The ministry said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today", "Minister of Finance Taif Sami will chair the meeting of the Ministerial Council for the Economy in Erbil, where it is hoped that the council will discuss financial and economic issues with the region, which revolve around several points, the most important of which are:
    - Constitutional rights: The constitutional rights stipulated in the Iraqi Constitution for the Kurdistan Region will be discussed.
    - Financial entitlements: The financial entitlements of the Kurdistan Region will be discussed in accordance with the agreed mechanisms.
    - Pending issues: All pending issues between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government will be discussed.
    The ministry's statement confirmed that the visit aims to:
    - Enhancing cooperation: The visit aims to enhance cooperation between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government in the economic and financial fields.
    - Solving problems: The visit seeks to solve the outstanding problems between the two sides in accordance with the constitution and applicable laws.
    - Developing relations: The visit aims to develop relations between Baghdad and Erbil in a way that serves the interests of the Iraqi people.
