    Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security on Wednesday, while the Ministerial Council directed that electronic devices be checked before importing them to avoid any possible hacking.
    The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool Abdullah, said in a statement, which was reviewed by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security, during which the latest developments in the security situation in Iraq were discussed, the topics on the agenda were discussed, and recommendations were made regarding them."

    He added that "the meeting discussed unifying the decisions of the Council of Ministers regarding the delivery of colored metal waste to the Military Industrialization Authority and the Ministry of Industry and Minerals," indicating that "the Council agreed to grant temporary lump-sum allocations to those working in combating drugs in the southern regions."

    He continued, "The Council listened to a detailed briefing on the developments in the Lebanese Republic, and stressed the continuation of sending medical and humanitarian aid to treat the injured."

    He continued, "The Council stressed on the border crossings to take the necessary and preventive measures to avoid any possible breach, and also stressed the security check on imports intensively before contracting them and dealing with solid companies before the import process with regard to electronic devices."
