Economic expert Rashid Al-Saadi revealed today, Friday, that America is pressuring Iraq to supply Jordan with oil at symbolic prices.
Al-Saeedi told Al-Maalouma Agency that "American pressures and international agendas were exerted on previous and current governments to supply Jordan with petroleum derivatives and exempt many Jordanian goods from tax procedures."
He explained that "these measures and pressures on Iraq are negatively affecting its economy in light of the decline in oil prices."
He continued, "Imposing American and international restrictions on the Iraqi government to supply Jordan with oil derivatives paved the way for the Zionist entity to obtain Iraqi oil without the knowledge of the central government." End/12A
