Member of the Popular Legal Movement, Ahmed Shaheed Al-Shammari, attributed today, Wednesday, the failure of the House of Representatives to pass important laws to the existence of political differences.
Al-Shammari told Al-Maalouma Agency, "Dozens of laws are still pending inclusion in the House of Representatives due to political disputes."
He added, "Political differences are the main reason behind the failure of the House of Representatives to pass controversial bills."
He pointed out that "the most prominent disputed laws are the Personal Status Law, the Oil and Gas Law, the Federal Court Law, the Real Estate Recovery Law, and other laws."
He pointed out that "there are innovations such as 'vote for me' and 'vote for you' or 'one basket', which made the legislation weak and full of flaws and defects due to the political inclination of the blocs and parties seeking interests." End of 25 H
