MP Kazem Al-Tawki confirmed today, Thursday, that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, directed to resolve the differences over the draft laws before submitting them to Parliament.
Al-Tawki said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, that "the Speaker of the House of Representatives stressed the necessity of agreeing on controversial draft laws with the concerned parties and studying them to resolve existing problems before submitting them to Parliament."
He added, "The real estate law concerns the citizens of Kirkuk Governorate, especially since the governorate is made up of a different fabric. Therefore, it is necessary to agree on the law to avoid disputes between the people of the governorate."
He said, "There are new agreements between the political blocs to pass draft laws that were not voted on in previous sessions." End/25S
