Nuri al-Maliki prosecution in international courts

Iraqi lawyers decided to resort to international tribunals to prosecute Iraqi Vice President Nuri al-Maliki on charges of war crimes and looting of state funds during his premiership
Where the Saudi newspaper Okaz that showed the most prominent documents condemnation collected in order to prosecute al-Maliki war crimes, ethnic cleansing and abuse of power illegally and wasting public money and inciting sectarian in Iraq and contribute to the fall of the Iraqi cities, however, the organization Daash.
The move comes in the wake of the Iraqi criminal courts primitive and refused to accept any case involving Maliki, without giving reasons, according to a group of lawyers say.
It is said that the Ministry of Justice announced the presence of 54 lawsuit provided in the competent courts against al-Maliki of lawyers and activists during the 10 months included 281 documents and evidence about the involvement of al-Maliki sectarian cleansing, killings and seize other property crimes, the ministry has become the issues still exist in the courts but have not been considered on the recommendation of the Supreme Judicial Council, which refused to consider the request.
