Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim urged the political blocs to feel responsibility towards calming down the current tensions.
A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday cited that “During receiving the Islamic Fadhila Party’s delegation, Hakim stressed the political sides’ responsibility in alleviating the current tensed situation in Iraq so that the political flounder would not affect the security posture.”
Ha called on “The politicians to get to the dialogue table and show flexibility, confirming the need to follow new security plans and activate the intelligence department.”
