Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari warned of the possibility of failure to pay wages of employees in the month of April in the event of continued decline in oil prices.

Iraqi spokesman said yesterday that the Wasit Provincial Council decided to grant three thousand employees temporary compulsory leave for a period of six months without salary, subject to renewal in the conduct of austerity on the back of lower oil prices, which means that the government may resort to such a move to relieve temporarily burdens.
