Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The head of the ministerial commission for considering the demonstrators’ demands, Hussein al-Shahristani, received at his office in Baghdad, the European Union Ambassadors accredited in Iraq.
A statement by the ministerial commission reported that “Shahristani reviewed during the meeting, the workflow of the commission and the latest achievements concerning considering the demonstrators’ demands,” stressing “The commission answered many of these demands despite the administrative complexities in some state departments.”
The statement quoted him as saying “The commission called the Supreme Judicial Council to speed up settling the detainees’ cases referred to the judiciary.”
