Out of all of the attributes of God, one the underlying and prevailing characteristics about Him is that He operates in truth. He will always tell you the truth in love, the truth about His mercy, the truth about Jesus and the great salvation provided through Him, His truth about who you are and His purpose for your life and the truth of His Word. He is truth and everything He will do in your life will be because His truth is established in your heart.
When you pray, when you walk and talk with God, don't try to cover where you are. Don't come to Him pretending you are one way, when honestly you are not. He's going to tell you He knows already. He's going to tell you to keep it real. Deal with Me in truth. Tell Me what are you really dealing with. God can't heal a man's covered wound. God can't change a concealed motive. He wants you to be real with Him, so He can be real with you, and His truth in your heart will make you free. He will give you real healing, real faith, real change.
Prayer: Father, thank You that You will never lie and You do what say. You deal with me in truth. Help me to deal with You in truth. Here are all my struggles and fears. Change me and provide Your truth to destroy any lies that have been built in my life. Help me to put Your Word in my heart. I praise You now for the work done in me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
