Al-Maliki discuss with the ambassadors of EU countries bilateral relations | |

| Baghdad (newsletter) ...Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki discussed with ambassadors of EU countries accredited in Baghdad exchanged views on relations between Iraq and the countries of the European Union and ways to develop them in all areas, as well as discuss issues of the region and the crisis in Syria. According to a statement by the Prime Minister received (News Agency news) on Thursday that Al-Maliki stressed Iraq's desire to develop relations with the EU and strengthen cooperation in all fields, adding that the position of Iraq since the start of the Syrian crisis was still with a political solution and support moderation and rejection of extremism and interference not to participate in any militarization activity in Syria, the Syrian people and respect their choices.
