[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]WASHINGTON - Iraq Press - March 9 / March: approved a US Defense Department (Pentagon), on Wednesday, the crash of a US military plane in Iraq.
A ministry official said that "a US military plane carrying four crew members crashed in Iraq on Saturday , " noting that " the incident did not result in casualties, with initial reports ruled out that she had been attacked."
For his part, the commander of operations in the US Navy Admiral John Richardson confirmed to The Washington Post that "naval helicopters rescued four crew members, on Saturday after the forced landing of an aircraft reconnaissance of the US Army."
The newspaper quoted Richardson as saying that " the rescue operation was launched from Irbil in northern Iraq."
He Richardson told the newspaper " has been lifted and flown from the scene within four minutes of warning , " pointing out that " the timing was very good."
Eyewitnesses reported last Saturday that an American plane made an emergency landing east of Arbil, while confirmed that four people were on board. Q ended
