    Iraqi parliament began this March, the implementation of the Prime Minister's decision to reduce salaries and protections of the Presidency and the House of Representatives and the staff of the House of Representatives.
    According to these reform measures, the nominal salary of the President of the House of Representatives has become 8 million dinars per month, down from 35 million. The vice president will receive 6 million dinars, down from 25 million dinars per month. While reducing the salary of a member of the House of Representatives from 12 million to 6 million dinars.
    And it reduced the number of parliamentary reforms protections president of the legislature to 50, after a security element was beyond a population of 100 items prior to that, was allocated 15 security elements to protect both the Vice President after it was 30 each element.
    Reduction also included the salaries of employees of the House of Representatives that have been identified with 33% of each employee. It expects parliamentary sources that are salary cuts "retroactively".
    Says MP Najiba Najib, a member of the parliamentary economic committee in a newspaper that "parliamentary reforms approved by the House of Representatives in August, some of which came into force late last year, which included reducing the number of the protections of the Presidium of the parliament, deputies and advisers and deputy ministers also permit".
    She MP Najib said "the reforms provided for reducing the nominal salary of the President of the House of Representatives from 35 million dinars a month to 8 million dinars per month, and reduce my salary Vice-Presidents from 25 million to 6 million dinars each month," and noted that "reduce the salaries included members of the Board Representatives and it led to a reduction of 12 million to 6 million each deputy".
    And he showed a member of the Economic Committee that "the salary of MP, before the reduction, it was 12 million dinars per month divided by 5 million dinars salary my name, and 5 million in provisions position, 2 million dinars in provisions hospitality, including deductions for tax estimated at 800-750 thousand dinars per month, and the deduction of retirement limits 500 thousand dinars per month".
    She Najib saying that "the protection of the President of the House of Representatives before the reforms were in excess of 100 security element, but now reduced to (50) a security element, and the deputy speaker of parliament, was the protection of each element 60, but dropped to 30 after reforms".
    He pointed out that "the reforms allocated to a member of the House of Representatives 16 component security after the number was in the previous 30 Protection element".
    Kurdish MP revealed that "the reduction of the salaries of the staff of the House of Representatives included a 33%", stressing that "the staff cuts came into effect since the beginning of this month, although the reforms approved in August, so the deductions of employees' salaries will be retroactive".
    And on the legality of reducing the salaries of parliamentarians, Najib confirms that "The prime minister has the right to a reduction in the salaries of the three presidencies, but not able to reduce the salaries of other government institutions, each has its own law regulating its work".
