Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The head of the parliament Human Rights Committee, Saleem al-Jubouri, met today with Dutch Ambassador to Iraq, Harry Mollonar, in Baghdad where they discussed the political situation in Iraq.
A statement by the Committee reported “Both sides discussed the provincial elections conduced earlier in Iraq. Jubouri hoped the human rights condition to be improved in Iraq, describing the elections as a step towards the real democracy.”
Mollonar expressed “The international community’s concerns towards the human rights situation in Iraq especially with the increase of the executions in the country, urging the concerned sides to address this situation before taking decisive measures in this respect.”
“The head of the HR Committee highlighted the importance of the communication and the cooperation between the Committee and the international community in order to develop the human rights files,” the statement concluded.

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The head of the parliament Human Rights Committee, Saleem al-Jubouri, met today with Dutch Ambassador to Iraq, Harry Mollonar, in Baghdad where they discussed the political situation in Iraq.
A statement by the Committee reported “Both sides discussed the provincial elections conduced earlier in Iraq. Jubouri hoped the human rights condition to be improved in Iraq, describing the elections as a step towards the real democracy.”
Mollonar expressed “The international community’s concerns towards the human rights situation in Iraq especially with the increase of the executions in the country, urging the concerned sides to address this situation before taking decisive measures in this respect.”
“The head of the HR Committee highlighted the importance of the communication and the cooperation between the Committee and the international community in order to develop the human rights files,” the statement concluded.
