Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Speaker of the Iraqi parliament, Osama al-Nijaifi released an initiative to resolve the current political crisis in Iraq.
MP Mohamed al-Khalidi of the Iraqiya Slate said “Nijaifi’s initiative includes the resignation of the government and forming another government to temporarily run the country, it also involves dissolving the parliament and conducting early legislative elections.”
The Premier Nouri al-Maliki has repeatedly renewed his call to conduct early parliament elections, noting ” the political stability cannot be achieved but through forming political majority government.”
