    Masum calls for the inclusion of the marshes of Nasiriyah in the World Heritage List

    Called on President Fuad Masum , regional bodies and the international community to theinclusion of the marshes and the heritage of the city of Nasiriyah province of Dhi Qar, part of the World Heritage list, with student bodies concerned with the development of economic activities in the city, the face of Dhi Qar , the Council invited the president to visit the province. 
    He said the Information Office of the Presidency in a statement received (range Press) copy of it, " thepresident Fuad Masum, received at the peace Palace, in central Baghdad, a delegation of members of theBoard of the province of Dhi Qar , headed by chairman of the Board Hamid Naim Gazan." 
    the statement quoted infallible call, regional bodies and international community international to "vote on thedeclaration of the central marshes and South marshes and sites of Ur and Eridu area within the World Heritage list during the current year 2016 , " and urged " the ministries and agencies concerned with thedevelopment of economic activities of the province , especially in the field of investment, agriculture andreligious tourism and services to suit its human resources and wealth big." 
    He Masum willingness "to make every effort in order to include the effects of the marshes of Dhi Qar , within the World Heritage list , " calling, the Ministry of environment and the United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to "urgent and effective cooperation in this regard." 
    He praised the President of the Republic b "excellent reputation of the people of the province to the enrichment of civilization and culture of Iraq and the region over the times." 
    for his part , the face of "chairman of the province of Dhi Qar , " to call for the president to visit the province ,"stressing the importance of " supporting Thacada conference hosted by the province to encourage voting on the accession of the marshes and the effects of a Waqar to global regulation. " 
    he was the governor of Dhi Qar , Yahya Mohammed Baqir al - Nasseri, announced on Thursday (November 19, 2015), that the process of voting on the accession of the marshes of the World Heritage list will be held in mid - 2016 in an international conference to be held in Turkey, while calling presidency of the Council Minister of Foreign Affairs to rally support for file marsh for the purpose of resolving the voting process for the benefit of its accession to the World Heritage list. 
    The governor of Dhi Qar , Yahya Mohammed Baqir al - Nasseri, announced on Wednesday (April 20, 2016) the adoption of a plan to rally support for the voting process to join the marshes of the World Heritage list ,which is scheduled to take place during the month of July, part of an international conference in Turkey, as called for Foreign Affairs, culture and Tourism and environment Ministries to support this file, likely to contribute to join the marshes to the World Heritage list to develop tourism sectors and the promotion ofeconomic resources in the province. 
    It is the province of the Department of Dhi Qar is working with the Ministry of environment and the United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO) to declare Central marshes and South marshes and sites of Ur and Eridu area within the World Heritage list in 2016. 
    he was governor of Dhi Qar , Yahya Mohammed Baqir al - Nasseri, announced on Sunday (April 3, 2016) toform a committee especially from the province to follow up the process of voting on the accession of themarshes and the archaeological sites in the province to the World Heritage list procedures.
