Amer winner: Investment Act amendments do not include the oil sector

(newsletter). According to economy and Investment Committee member
MP//Amer winner, the amendments to the investment law No. (13) of the
year (2006) does not include the oil sector because oil has its own
laws.
A winner (News Agency): the law of public investment
focusing on non-oil sectors as agriculture, industry, tourism, housing,
etc., while oil investment has its own laws and regulations from this
law.
He added that the amendments to the draft of the amended law
No. (13) of the year (2006), which include encouraging foreign and
local investors to invest in the country and to overcome obstacles and
constraints of them, because the country needs large investment
projects.
The House intends to modify the amended Investment Act
of 2006 to support the investment process in the country and to promote
entry to Iraq./finished/8 l. Eng.
