Accused Parliamentary Integrity Commission, Wednesday, senior politicians unnamed mafias support the dollar and foreign currency auction, confirming strict measures to prevent manipulation of the dollar.
The committee member said Ammar al-Shibli told / information / that "some of the big political figures behind the mafias buy and sell the dollar who are manipulating an auction of foreign currency, which led to a noticeable rise in the dollar's exchange rate against the Iraqi dinar."
He added that "some of the corrupt and those who stand behind them, of those political figures control the foreign currency markets, through the banks they own in secret or through commissions they receive in exchange for facilitating the work of these banks at the central bank and currency auction."
Shibli stressed that "the committee in cooperation with other government agencies and put plans and mechanisms and strict measures to curb manipulation of an auction of foreign currency exchange rates or the dollar."
The central bank had announced earlier on the status of current and future series of measures to control the exchange rates of the dollar against the currencies Alassabh.anthy / 25 R.
