    Justice Minister Haider Zamili on Thursday, Iraq's commitment to international human rights standards, such as his dealings with convicted in the implementation of a just retribution under the law if convicted of the offense and give them the right to a defense and to ensure a fair trial, contrary to what is witnessed in some countries of the violation of the rights of the accused and the lack of access to trials fair.
    The minister said during a meeting with a member of the Office of the Human Rights Council Salama al-Khafaji, said "Human file rights at the heart of the work of the Ministry of Justice and ask the ministry to manage it after the cancellation of the Ministry of Human Rights has contributed to devote doubling to improve the quality of work that side's efforts," pointing out that the ministry is sponsoring human rights of the citizen in oversight of the work of the judicial departments of service, in addition to its sponsorship of the needs of guests who are in prisons, as well as ensure the right of victims to the rhythm of comeuppance who assaulted them.
    The Minister expressed his response to the request of al-Khafaji in providing possible assistance to the Commission in order to carry out its functions subject to the control of human rights, open horizons of cooperation through the formation of joint committees between the Ministry and the Commission to achieve the bulk of the principles of human rights on the ground.
    In turn discussed the al-Khafaji, the latest decision to the Council of Ministers transmission of the repair events department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs to the Ministry of Justice as falling within the area of ​​jurisdiction of the ministry in prisons incoming administration within the paper Government Reform, also included discussions discuss executions file and the recent amendments to the competent in this regard laws. jh
