Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of Badr Organization within the Iraqi National Alliance assured “The post of Diyala Governor is exclusively allocated for INA.”
He stated to IraqiNews.com “Diyala Governor will be nominated by INA,” noting that “Soon, we will deliver the happy news about this issue to the masses of INA.”
Earlier, Diyala Provincial Council failed in nominating the new Governor and the new PC Chairman due to the lack of quorum during its Thursday session.
Informed source stated to IraqiNews.com “The attending members failed in nominating the Governor and the PC Chairman due to the lack of quorum because the bloc of the Iraqi National Alliance as well as the Kurdish Coexistence Slate did not attend the session.”
The attending members performed the constitutional oath before the head of Diyala Cassation Court, Jasim al-Omari.
“The session that was lifted till further notice attended by 14 members out of 29,” the source concluded.
