Dhi Qar province , announced the receipt of the Chinese Himalayan company private investment project to distribute electricity and provide collection and rehabilitation services to some neighborhoods of the province.

Meanwhile, in South Electricity distribution director Mohammad Abdul Amir said during the press conference, said that " the local government has shown its support for the investment project through the smart meter system that will be installed free of charge to citizens , " noting that " the project is working to reduce electricity wastage and gives the consumer a variety of means to pay for the consumed. "
