Iraq signed an agreement with Iran to import 25 million cubic meters of gas per day

Iraq has signed a new agreement with Iran to import gas, including the amount of 25 million cubic meters per day.
The Iraqi Council of Ministers has agreed on 19 of the month of February to authorize the Minister the power to sign oil pipeline project carrier gas through Iran, Iraq, Syria and Europe.
The news agency Mehr news assistant Iranian President for International Affairs Ali Said if to say that "the Iranian Oil Ministry signed a new agreement to export gas with the Ministry of Energy Iraqi conjunction with Binary Compatibility to lift the size of Iran's exports of electricity to Iraq."
And between the Iranian official that "under the new contract between the two countries undertake to Iran's Oil Ministry to export about 25 million cubic meters of gas per day from the South Pars field for gas acid western Iran into Iraq."
He said Assistant Iranian President for International Affairs to decades of development and industrial signed between Iran and Iraq, saying that "for the time being issued Iran over 1300 MW of electricity per day to Iraq, where it is expected to add 150 megawatts per day to the total Iranian exports of electric power."
He added that "there is an economic strategy aimed from behind the export of electricity to Iraq to make it a transit point for the delivery of electricity to Syria and Lebanon in the near term."
The deputy Iranian Oil Minister Javad Oji said in a press statement earlier "We are exporting 40 million cubic meters of natural gas to Iraq early summer of next year," adding that "Iraq and Iran reached an agreement for the export of Iranian natural gas to Iraq During two separate ways. "
He Ogi that "construction of the pipeline between Iran and Iraq and Syria is going in full swing since the start it last year," noting that "the pipeline is also designed to connect natural gas to other neighboring countries such as Jordan and Lebanon in the future." Is over.
