Barzani, US Ambassador to Iraq discuss political situation in Iraq

[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The US Ambassador to Iraq, Steven Beecroft, described the last visit of President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, to Baghdad as good step to address the problems.[/ltr]
[ltr]The US Ambassador met with Barzani on Monday in Erbil where they discussed the political situation in Iraq.[/ltr]
[ltr]Beecfroft expressed during the meeting his country’s support for Barzani’s visit to Baghdad and his meeting with the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, describing the visit as start for resolving the political process’s problems.[/ltr]
[ltr]For his part, Barzani thanked the USA’s support for Iraq and stressed that the Iraqis are looking forward to see positive results for such meetings and visits.[/ltr]
