Barzani and Nujaifi discuss political and security situation in Iraq

Erbil / NINA / Head of the Kurdistan Region, Massoud Barzani, discussed on Thursday with the chairman of Motahedoon Coalition, Osama Nujaifi the latest developments in Iraq, according to a statement by the presidency of the region.
The statement released today that al-Nujaifi expressed, during the meeting thanks to President Barzani and the Government and the people of the region because Kurdistan has become a haven for refugees and displaced persons from the people of Mosul, Salah al-Din and Anbar," adding that "the rescue of these refugees is evidence that the people of Kurdistan has high thinking and maturity.
He noted that the two sides have held talk about "how to solve problems and work to activate the political process and find a common solution between the political blocs in the Iraqi parliament." / End
