    [ltr]The Saudi Minister of State for the Gulf Thamer Sabhan, Monday, that Saudi Arabia does not need mediation with Iran, pointing to the lack of information relating to brief him on the mediation between the two countries.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He said Sabhan told the newspaper "life" of Saudi Arabia reported, that "we do not receive anything, including the existence of the mediation of messages between Riyadh and Tehran, and Saudi Arabia do not need mediation with Iran," noting that "the Iranians know what they have to work and do if they want to improve relations with the Kingdom ".[/ltr]

    Jaafari convey messages between Saudi Arabia and Iran


     Baghdad / Reuters 

    Iranian state television yesterday, Foreign Minister Ibrahim al - Jaafari as saying that the transfer of messages between Tehran and Riyadh , in an ongoing effort to contain the hostility between the two neighbors. And worsened relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, two competing power broker, after the death of hundreds of people, mostly Iranians in a stampede during the Hajj season in 2015. Iran has said the incompetence of the organizers was the cause of the disaster and boycotted the pilgrimage last year. 
    Relations deteriorated again after the execution of the Saudi Shi'ite cleric Nimr al- Nimr, a year ago, prompting Iranian protesters to break into the Saudi Embassy in Tehran, Riyadh received sever diplomatic ties with the latter. 
    The television Alayarena Jaafari as saying that the steps mediation going on since last year and that the transfer of messages between the two countries, adding that any crisis in Iranian - Saudi relations are also detrimental to Iraq and vice versa. 
    Foreign Minister explained that the transfer of verbal messages between the two officials during the past months and that he will try to bring the positions between them. 
    The Iranian official, on Monday, that Saudi Arabia was invited to Tehran to discuss Hajj arrangements during the next season. 
    Iraq had sent al - Jaafari to Tehran a year ago , where he made an offer to mediate between Saudi Arabia and Iran , which unlike Baghdad concern the possibility that hurts any new sectarian conflict military its campaign against al Daesh radical.
