Japanese stocks fell at the close of trading on Friday, with the continued reluctance of investors in light of the lack of clarity of US economic policies under the leadership of President Donald Trump and uncertainty surrounding the political landscape in Europe, which had a negative impact on morale.
The Nikkei index of Japanese shares 0.5 percent to close at 19283.54 points, but increased 0.3 percent over the week.
It lost the broader Topix index 0.4 percent to 1550.14 points, while the Jah.ba.aks Nikkei-400 index down 0.4 percent to end the day at 13893.04 points. Finished / 25
