According to the official spokesman for the ministry, Ibrahim Sabbatical in a special interview with »Sabah» that the General Directorate General of Education formed a committee to follow up schools for pupils with special needs and discuss the reality of the curriculum for this segment, stressing the work to modernize the curricula of these students in order to promote their reality intellectual with the following teaching methods in a variety of teaching by teachers specialists. He pointed to the follow - up to the ranks of the fifth primary stage to discuss the reality of the school curriculum, and the diagnosis of the causes of failure of pupils with special needs in the fifth grade your primary, in order to help them overcome any difficulties in this regard. He said he has to use the experiences of developed countries and approaches have in this regard and transfer to the country, noting that in this regard took place to discuss the obstacles that hinder the process of education of the deaf and dumb represented by the difficulty of receiving social studies and Islamic subjects for the primary certificate. For its part, confirmed the director of care for people with special needs in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs Department, Dr. Abeer Mahdi Chalabi, in an exclusive interview made by »Sabah»: The number of beneficiaries of the role of mental disability 0.739 reached by 525 males and 214 females , while the number of beneficiaries of section 2062 physical disability, including 1227 males and 833 females, revealing that coordination with the Ministry of Education will start from the next academic year (2017 2018) in order to print textbooks fit with their mental abilities.
