    Information / Baghdad ..
The Iraqi government will soon ask its Jordanian counterpart to open polling stations in the capital Amman and a number of provinces for Iraqi voters for the May 12 parliamentary elections, the Jordanian daily Al-Ghad reported Saturday.
"The Iraqi request comes in conjunction with an invitation recently launched by the Iraqi Embassy in Amman to members of the Iraqi community in Jordan to register online through its web pages," the newspaper said in a news item.
Registration for the Iraqi elections requires the presentation of national identity documents, a family book, a civil ID, a nationality certificate and an ADEG passport .
In all of Iraq's post-2003 elections, it was customary to open centers for Iraqi voters in Jordan. Ending / 25

Iraq demands the opening of centers for its residents residing in Jordan
The Iraqi government is expected to ask its Jordanian counterpart soon, to open polling stations in the capital Amman and a number of provinces for Iraqi voters, for the parliamentary elections scheduled for 12 May.

The Iraqi newspaper "Al-Ghad" reported Saturday that "the Iraqi request comes in conjunction with an invitation launched by the Iraqi Embassy in Amman recently to the children of the Iraqi community in Jordan, to register online through their pages on the Internet."

In order to be registered in the Iraqi elections, national identity documents, a family book, a civil ID, a nationality certificate and an ADEG passport are required.
It is common practice in all Iraqi elections that took place after the year 2003 to open centers for Iraqi voters in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
