    On Thursday, the Integrity Commission revealed the details of its investigative, legal, preventive and educational achievements for the first half of 2018, announcing its semi-annual report, highlighting the completion of its departments, directorates and investigation offices throughout Iraq except Kurdistan.
    The Commission confirmed, in announcing its mid-term report, that the public funds that were recovered or issued judicial rulings in response, which prevented and stopped the Authority wasted, which were returned to the account of the public treasury totaling (386,969,597,603) billion dinars during this period exclusively.
    It referred to its consideration of (13641) communications, news and criminal cases, indicating that the number of communications was 1,361, while the number of reports amounted to 3,807, while the criminal cases amounted to 8473 cases.
    The number of accused referred to the court of the subject - Misdemeanors and crimes - (1539) accused, including 5 ministers and those of their rank, where they were issued 9 decisions by referral, and the number of referred to the judiciary of special grades and general managers 93 accused, were issued 112 decisions By reference.
    The investigations led to the issuance of 1,071 arrest warrants by the judicial authorities, of which 476 were executed during the first half of the current year, while the number of ministers and those of the same rank as those who were issued arrest warrants 9, 21 arrest warrants and 107 arrest warrants against 59 degree holders Private and general managers.
    The number of orders for judicial recruitment issued on the basis of the Commission's investigations during the same period was 3,378, of which 2275 were executed, indicating that the number of ministers and those of the same rank who were issued with orders were 10, The number of those who were issued judicial orders by private officers and general managers was 171, of which 222 were issued, as well as the issuance of 736 judicial arrest warrants, of which 10 were issued against seven accused of special rank and general managers. According to the Commission's investigations, 97 decisions were issued, three of which were issued against ministers or their rank, 10 of them with special grades and general managers, and of the same rank.
    The report reviewed the number of defendants, criminal cases, estimated amounts and cases covered by the amnesty law, indicating that the total number of defendants in relation to cases of corruption referred by the Commission amounted to 418 accused and sentenced in 360 criminal cases.
    The Commission noted in its report the seizures and seized funds carried out during the first half of this year, indicating that it carried out 216 seizures, of which 62 were carried out by the Directorate of Investigation Basra, 23 by the Directorate of Investigation Baghdad and (19) Ninewa, and 112 operations carried out by the directorates and investigation offices of the body in all governorates except Kurdistan, pointing out that the number of accused in those operations amounted to 231 accused, supported by the criminal evidence that is caught and installed in the records of fundamentalist control organized by The body was submitted to the competent investigative.
    In the same period, the Commission worked exclusively on 343 files on fugitives wanted in cases of corruption, prepared 64 files, while at the same time worked on 209 files to recover the money smuggled.
    During the same year, the Commission received 16900 financial disclosure forms. The response rate of the presidents, ministers, the parliament, the judiciary, the vice presidents, and vice-presidents of the parliament was 100 percent. The ministers' response rate was 86.4 percent. While the proportion of the response of heads of bodies and entities not affiliated with the Ministry and those with the rank of minister 67.7 percent, not disclosed 10 of them, while the outgoing members of the Council was the response rate of 36.3 percent, with only 118 deputies expressed their financial liabilities of the total of 325 deputies.
    The report pointed out that the Commission has set up secret mobile inspection teams working in a number of state institutions to ascertain the level of service provided to citizens. The number of visits during the first half of 2018 was 66 visits, which included 40 administrative structures for two ministries. (1099) visits included (568) administrative formation in (29) ministry and destination not linked to the Ministry; in order to ensure the development of work procedures and transparency in the service departments, as well as follow up the implementation of the requirements of the national campaign Anti-bribery.
    The report highlighted the draft legislation and laws implemented and proposed by the Commission and the measures taken during the same period. The report also included the educational awareness activities launched by the Commission during that period.
