Iraq cuts Basrah light price to Asia
The Iraqi oil marketing company "Sumo" announced on Thursday the reduction of the official price of Basra light crude to Asia
In a statement, the company said in a statement that Iraq has reduced the official sale price of Basra light crude to Asia for September by 0.50 dollars from the previous month, to reach $ 0.15 a barrel below the average prices offered to Oman and Dubai.
The price of Basrah crude for Asia for the same month was set at a discount of $ 3.15 per barrel for the Amman and Dubai bourses. The official sale price of Basra light crude for shipments to North American and South American markets for September was set at a discount of $ 0.25 per barrel Without the Argos index for crude high sulfur, higher than the previous month.
The official price of Kirkuk crude for shipments to the United States was set at $ 0.55 per barrel above the Argus index.
With regard to shipments to Europe, the company pointed out that the official sale price of Basrah Light for September fell by $ 0.70 to Brent crude price of $ 4.80 per barrel, while the official sale price of Kirkuk crude for the same month to 3, $ 45 without Brent.
