The parliamentary finance committee on Tuesday proposed an amendment to the financial investment quotas for the governorates, pointing out that next week will mark the first meeting of the joint government parliamentary committee.
"The next week will see the first meeting of the joint committee between the government and the parliament on the amendment of the financial budget for 2019," committee member Ahmad Hama told Al-Mawloma.
Hama added that "the amendments that will be made on the budget will include investment amounts for the liberated provinces and raise the proportion of the Kurdistan region as well as the gravel of Basra province."
He pointed out that "the financial budget does not include any appointments after the imposition of the International Monetary Fund a condition on the previous government not to appoint other employees," noting that "the Fund informed the previous government of a surplus in the number of employees of 37 thousand degrees and functional."
