Al-Mohamadawi from NATO: Iraq must be enabled to go beyond a pre-emptive phase

BAGHDAD / A member of the Iraqi delegation participating in the meetings of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO member states, Jamal al-Mahmudawi, stressed the need to enable Iraq to move beyond the stage of a supportive organization, stressing the importance of attending a delegation of the Iraqi parliament in the extraordinary sessions of the Halifax session, Was launched two days ago in the presence of representatives of parliaments.
"The Iraqi delegation thanks the Canadian government and people for the efforts exerted and a series of measures and logistical preparations for the success of the meetings, which were at a high level in the presence of members and delegations participating from the Special Group for the Middle East and the Middle East," he said in a statement.
"The Iraqi delegation participating in the meetings of NATO called on allies and friends to enable Iraq to overcome the stage of urging to become the main axis and key to security in the region."
He pointed out that "the representation of Iraq in this international forum was positive and influential and reviewed his vision of the future of the region," calling "the international community to support the Iraqi people, especially in the period because we are on a new stage of construction and ages and the establishment of security and stability to ensure a better life for all Iraqis with all components and spectrum. 5
