"Establishing a strong and secure region requires Saudi and Emirati cooperation to build and establish new regional arrangements with the participation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq," said Hossein Amir Abdullahi, special assistant to the head of the Islamic Shura Council for International Affairs.
"From the GCC there has been no Council or cooperation," Abdullah wrote.
The Iranian official pointed out that "Bahrain is suffering from the crisis of non-legitimacy and Saudi Arabia from the crisis of Jamal Khashoggi, Riyadh and Abu Dhabi from the crisis of the crisis in Yemen."
