Iraq offers Japan an initiative to rebuild its infrastructure

Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi launched an initiative on Japan's partnership and economic and urban cooperation between the two governments as well as the establishment of a joint fund project to finance oil reconstruction projects.
And Abdul - Mahdi said during a meeting with the Special Adviser to the Japanese Prime Minister Kentaro Sonoora and his accompanying delegation, said that Japan would be an excellent partner for Iraq has accomplished a lot of urban and service projects in Iraq , and we have a lot of interests andfuture projects ambitious, stressing that Iraq has begun to regain its stability and its health and plays apivotal role And that the countries of the world turn to us to feel stability and enhance security and democratic life .
The Prime Minister presented an initiative for partnership and economic and urban cooperation between the Iraqi and Japanese governments, including the call for the establishment of a joint fund to finance reconstruction projects through the quantities of Iraqi oil exported to Japan. The Fund also funds the Japanese side to encourage the well-known Japanese companies operating in Iraq. The success of the work of Japanese companies and accelerate their efforts and smooth work .
"This initiative will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries, accelerate reconstruction efforts, create economic projects, create jobs for Iraqis, diversify national wealth and reduce dependence on oil, and provide opportunities for Japan to participate in the Iraqi market and the region in general," he said .
The Japanese official expressed his interest in the project and said he was present when the prime minister presented him during his visit to Japan as oil minister, and he finds this vision interesting .
It was agreed that the Iraqi side will submit a statement of the main lines of the project through the Japanese Embassy in Baghdad to be studied by the Japanese authorities, thus contributing to the consolidation of cooperation between the two parties .
The Japanese official conveyed the congratulations and congratulations to the Prime Minister on the occasion of the formation of the government and the desire of the Japanese government to expand relations with Iraq in all fields and to move more effectively in support of Iraq's stability and reconstruction and completion of service projects and support the efforts of the Iraqi government in developing the Iraqi economy. .
