    Information / follow up ..
China's state-run energy giant is pursuing a new approach to a $ 3 billion deal to develop an Iranian oil field, sources familiar with the Wall Street Journal have revealed.
The newspaper pointed out that China is seeking to benefit from the exemption granted by Washington to a number of countries in the world, and exploitation in the process of buying Iranian oil.
Although the United States has studied all conditions that could put more pressure on Iran through the oil sector embargo, Beijing is trying to play a counter-role to reduce this pressure, both for its own interests and to save Iran as a major oil exporter.
Washington gave sanctions exemptions to eight major oil buyers, including China, India, Japan and South Korea, after it re-imposed sanctions on Iran's oil sector last November.
