Deputy: Any negative statement against the security forces and the crowd is a supporter of terrorism

A member of the Foreign Relations Committee in the House of Representatives MP Amer al-Fayez, Thursday, any negative statement against the security forces and the popular crowd "a supporter of terrorism," stressing the need not to be silent about some of the abuses against the Iraqi security apparatus.
"The victories of the security forces and the popular crowd in the liquidation of the gangs of Falluja, calling for the criminalization of the military and expelling them from all the territories occupied after 2014 did not live for many of Iraq's enemies," Al-Fayez said in a statement.
"These people, whether they are states or parties, are still recruiting many weak souls and buying their grievances with money to watch TV screens in order to distort the image of the security forces," he said, noting that "such statements, whether internal or external, are nothing but a victory for terrorism.
