The Iranian newspaper "Quds" on Sunday that the US military presence constitutes a violation of Iraqi national sovereignty and a heavy burden on the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] government and people, pointing to the growing internal resentment of the American presence.
The newspaper said in a report that "MPs in the Iraqi parliament prepare a list calling for the withdrawal of US troops from Iraqi territory," indicating that "such a list will have the support of the parliamentary majority certainly in the case of the issue and with growing resentment against the internal US military presence."
