Minorities in Parliament decide to boycott voting on special grades

The head of the Yazidi bloc in the House of Representatives Saeb Khaddar, Saturday, an agreement between the minority blocs of Sabians, Christians and the Shabak within the House of Representatives not to vote on the special grades.
Khaddar said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "minorities in the House of Representatives demanded that they have representation of special grades within the government, otherwise we will not be part of the vote."
"All minority representatives will boycott the voting session," he added. "If they are offered, the names will be on the agenda of the House of Representatives."
Khaddar pointed out that "the government and parliament ignored minorities in decision-making within the cabinet and today are trying to exclude common components within the political process." Ending / 25
