The Minister of Electricity, Louay Khatib, said that government support, the bold decisions of the Prime Minister and high coordination with the Ministry of Oil, all factors contributed to improving the production of electric power and access to more than 19 thousand megawatts within eight months.
Khatib said in a press statement that "several factors have contributed to the surge in the rates of energy production during the last short period, including government cooperation and harmony in decision-making and cooperation at the level of the ministry and the distribution of powers in securing the fuel plan, as well as cooperation with the Ministry of Oil."
