[size=52]Kuwait renews its thanks and appreciation to the countries that contributed to its liberation from the brutal Iraqi invasion[/size]
[size=45]KUWAIT: Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi on Friday reiterated his thanks and appreciation to brotherly and friendly countries, headed by the countries of the international coalition that supported and contributed to liberating Kuwait from the brutal Iraqi invasion.
This came in a speech delivered by Ambassador Al-Otaibi at a meeting of the Security Council on "Children and armed conflict" where the meeting coincided with the anniversary of the brutal Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.
He said that "this invasion has killed many of the sons of Kuwait and many families and lost a lot thanks to God Almighty and as a result of the commitment of the Security Council to implement its resolutions and the first resolution No. 660, issued on this day in 1990 freed my country."
"I would like to reiterate my thanks to these countries, which stood by the right, justice and international legitimacy from the same hall, whose image was engraved in the hearts of every Kuwaiti."
