The resigned prime minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, remains in office, and there is no indication that an alternative candidate will come close to him in the foreseeable future. Thus, more than one political source familiar with Abdel-Mahdi's message yesterday to the presidents and the parliament commented.

The position of the Prime Minister was expected to understand the course of managing the political crisis in the coming stage, following the apology of Mohamed Tawfiq Allawi two days ago, and the refusal of a wide range of parties to assign the country's administration to the President of the Republic, Barham Saleh.

And reflects the decision of Abdul-Mahdi, the Shiite house to hold the position of prime minister, and reject any movement that would fish in its waters, and this is a clear indication that the Shiite forces will not interact positively with the movement of Saleh to name an alternative from Abdul-Mahdi in the coming weeks, despite the leaks of those close to him. Thus, Abdul-Mahdi turned the table on everyone, with a first date set for early legislative elections.

In his message, Parliament called for an extraordinary session to finalize the Elections Law and Constituencies and the Independent High Electoral Commission, proposing that early elections be held next Friday 4 December, provided that Parliament dissolve itself 60 days before the aforementioned date. Likewise, Abdul-Mahdi revealed, after consulting constitutional and legal experts, a decision he made was to resort to voluntary absence, waving the possibility of resorting later to vacating the position according to Article 81 of the Constitution, if the political forces and the legislative and executive powers do not reach contexts that exit the country from its current crisis, According to Article 76, that is, assigning a new face to form the federal government.

Constitutionally, there is an opinion on the resignation of the resigned prime minister. Legal expert Mossadegh Adel says that the public job is a national duty, and a social job that aims to achieve the public interest in accordance with the Law of the Discipline of State and Public Sector Employees No. 14 of 1994, adding: The constitution did not allow the resigned Prime Minister to set a date for the completion of his duties, because the process The formation of the ministry is a constitutional act consisting of several processes. Accordingly, there is no constitutional or legal cover for the resigning Prime Minister's disavowal until the new cabinet is completed, or the Deputy Prime Minister is assigned his duties. Adel continues: Otherwise, Abdul-Mahdi can be held accountable according to Article 329 or 364 of the Penal Code No. 111 of 1969, and whether or not continuation is not subject to a personal mood.
